Tembok Cleaner is a
movement we initiates in 2007 where a lot of vandalism street graffiti spread
all over our major city in Indonesia. Bandung is one of it, widely based from
local motorcycle or car club until group of graffiti artist community; as they
wrote on their works. We questioned they mission in term of public art. Tembok
means wall, so basically we do their practice; operating in the dawn throughout
the city, without any permission cleaning the wall from many spray paint works
with wall paint, bring the blank wall as a neutral part of the city.
